Adventure Tours Across Northern Pakistan

A cultural ride through Pakistan’s Hindu Kush, from the pine forests of Swat and Kumrat to Shandur Pass, home of the world’s highest polo ground, and down into the Kalash valleys, where the Kalasha people still keep a pre-Islamic religion, language and calendar found nowhere else on earth. Starts and ends in Skardu, with Deosai Plateau as the opening act.

Two of northern Pakistan’s defining landscapes, back to back. Fly into Skardu and ride straight onto the Deosai Plateau ,a treeless, 4,114m-high wilderness home to the Himalayan brown bear ,then turn north onto the old Silk Road corridor: the Karakoram Highway through Hunza and Passu, all the way to Khunjerab Pass at the Chinese border. Ten days, 1,165 km, flying in and out of Islamabad.
