📍Major Peaks & Treks

K2 (8,611 m) → The world’s 2nd highest peak, known as the “Savage Mountain.”
k1 (Masherbrum) (7,821 m) → Known as the “Queen of Mountains."
Baltoro Glacier Trek → Takes you to Concordia, the junction of K2, Broad Peak, and Gasherbrums.
K2 Base Camp Trek → The most renowned
 trek in Pakistan, offering up-close views of K2.
Hushe Valley Trek → Gateway to Masherbrum, Gondogoro La, and Charakusa Valley.
Shimshal Pass Trek → Remote adventure through Shimshal Valley to Pamir meadows.

Valleys of Karakoram

Hushe valley

The trip from Khaplu to Hushe Valley is about 60 km and takes around 2 hours by jeep. The road passes through beautiful mountain scenery and small villages.

Shigar Valley

The beautiful scenic mountain road journey from Skardu to Shigar Valley is about 60 km and takes around 1 hour and 30 minutes by road. 

NAgma Valley

The journey from Khaplu to Nagma Valley takes around 2 hours by jeep to Kande village, followed by a 4-hours walk through peaceful mountain paths and green meadows.

Shimshal Valley

The drive from Hunza to Passu and then Shimshal takes about 3 to 4 hours and offers some of the most stunning views in northern Pakistan. The road runs along the Karakoram Highway, passing through beautiful villages, rivers, and mountains.

📍 Lakes of Karakoram 

Sogha Lake → A hidden alpine lake in Gilgit-Baltistan, surrounded by peaceful meadows and mountain views.
Attabad Lake → A clear blue lake in Hunza, formed by a landslide and now famous for boating and water sports.
Satrangi Lake (Naltar Valley) → A colorful alpine lake in Naltar Valley, reflecting shades of green and blue in a serene forest setting. 

 📍Karakoram Attractions (Bridges, Forts, Villages)

Hussaini Suspension Bridge (Hunza) → One of the world’s most adventurous suspension bridges, hanging over the Hunza River.

Passu Cones (Hunza) → Sharp pointed peaks creating Hunza’s most well-known sky  

Baltit Fort (Karimabad, Hunza) → A 700-year-old heritage fort showcasing Tibetan-style architecture. 

Altit Fort (Karimabad, Hunza) → A 900-year-old fort restored into a living museum with valley views.

Karimabad (Hunza) → The cultural heart of Hunza Valley, with historic forts, local bazaars, and mountain scenery.

Pass (Pak–China Border) → The world’s highest paved border crossing, connecting Pakistan with China.
